Ernstina Schimke was born on 1 June 1886 at Brienne, Bessarabia, Russia.1 She was the daughter of Johann Schimke and Christine Kuch.1 Ernstina Schimke married, at age 21, Emanual Breitling, age 23, son of Philipp Jacob Breitling and Karolina Strobel, on Sunday, 10 November 1907.1 Ernstina Schimke died on 14 February 1978 at Golden Valley, Mercer County, North Dakota, at age 91 years, 8 months and 13 days.1
