Emanual Breitling was born on 11 March 1884 at Neu Beresina, Hoffnungstal, Odessa Province, Russian Empire (Ukraine).1 He was the son of Philipp Jacob Breitling and Karolina Strobel.1 Emanual Breitling married, at age 23, Ernstina Schimke, age 21, daughter of Johann Schimke and Christine Kuch, on Sunday, 10 November 1907.2 Emanual Breitling died on 7 March 1973 at Golden Valley County, North Dakota, at age 88 years, 11 months and 24 days.1
He emigrated with Philipp Jacob Breitling and Karolina Strobel on 9 June 1889 from Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia, America and settled, first in Scotland, South Dakota.2
