     John Scholder was born circa 1834 at Germany.2 He married Doratha Marie Braun circa 1857 at Newark, Licking County, Ohio.1,2,3 John Scholder died on 21 January 1878.4,2,3,5 He was buried in section 2, row 2 (there is no headstone to mark this grave), in the Rochester Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, located in Rochester, Fulton County, Indiana.4

This individual and Adam John Scholder on this site have data in common and could be brothers. Any help in confirming they are brothers or of the same family group would be appreciated.
John Scholder and Doratha Marie Braun moved to Rochester, Indiana in 1860.3 His obituary was published on 26 January 1878 in the The Rochester Independent, printed in Rochester, Fulton County, Indiana. His obituary stated:

     DIED -Mr. John SCHOLDER, a German resident of the North end, died last Monday, of consumption. He was well known in this community, having resided here about fifteen years.4
