Jack M. Lukens was born on 28 May 1920 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Wally T. Lukens and Dorothy Ruby Sholder.2,1,4 Jack M. Lukens married, at age 25, Emma Loucelia Vollman, age 21, daughter of Christopher Edward Vollman and Edyth K. Sortman, on Sunday, 23 December 1945 at Newberry Methodist Church, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend L. Elbert Wilson.5 Jack M. Lukens and Emma Loucelia Vollman were divorced circa 1955. Jack M. Lukens died on 6 January 2002 at Bon Secors-Holy Family Hospital, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 7 months and 9 days.2,3
He appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 in the household of Wally T. Lukens and Dorothy Ruby Sholder at Williamsport, 5th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The marriage announcement for Jack M. Lukens and Emma Loucelia Vollman was published on 30 December 1945 in the The Grit, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. This announcement stated:

NUPTIALS were performed for Miss E. Loucelia Vollman and Jack Lukens in an evening candlelight service Dec. 23 [1945] in the Newberry Methodist Church by the Rev. L. Elbert Wilson. Miss Vollman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Vollman, of 1124 Dewey Avenue. Her husband's parents are Mrs. Eugene Winter, of 619 Trenton Place, and Wallie Lukens of this city.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown was of fine white net, and the finger-tip length veil of matching material was attached to a coronet of orange blossoms. White pompons and gladiolas were in her arm bouquet.
Mrs. Glen English, of this city, was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Arvid Nygren, another sister. Usherets were Mrs. Howard Coon, Miss Audrey Fisher, Miss Joanne Sortman, and Mrs. Edgar Vollman. Best man for his brother [actually cousin] was Monroe Lukens. Oragnist and soloist were Miss Louise Stryker and Mrs. Clyde Leach.5 As of 1971, Jack M. Lukens lived in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1

Born May 28, 1920, in Williamsport, he was a son of Wally and Dorothy Sholder Lukens. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was self-employed as a carpenter.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 268, Montgomery.
He is survived by one son, Jack L. Lukens of Lock Haven; two daughters, Patti Malizia of Montoursville and Lisa Cox of Hillsgrove; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Charles E. Winter of Orofino, ID. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Lukens.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family will provide flowers. Arrangements by Kaufman Funeral Home, 2102 Northway Road, Williamsport.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Jack's last known residence was Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.3
