Murray died on 13 August 2006 at Williamsport Home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 91 years, 1 month and 20 days.2,3,4 She was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Ronald O. Doan.2

Born June 24, 1915, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Wilbur H. and Kate Sweeley Murray.
Surviving besides her husband are sons, Dr. Donald H. (Carol) Jackson Jr. of Topeka, Kan., and Frederick E. (Rebecca) Jackson of Apalachin, N.Y; grandchildren, Richard (Catharine) Jackson, David (Stacy) Jackson and Laura Griffith; and great-grandsons, Henry and Evan Jackson.
Gladys was predeceased by brothers, Frank and Melvin Murray; a sister, Aline C. Murray; and grandchildren, Frederick Jackson Jr. and Phyllis Jackson.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 1301 Clayton Ave., with the Rev. Ronald O. Doan officiating. No visitation. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will provide the flowers and suggests donations to the Becht School Fund of the church.
