Green and Kathryn Irene Gair, on Saturday, 27 March 1954 at Winchester, Winchester County, Virginia.1 John Franklin Hafer died on 10 August 1990 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years and 7 days.3,4,1 He was buried on 14 August 1990 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3

He worked as a truck driver for Laface Express and Halls Motors. He was a member of Teamsters Union Retirees Local 764 as well as the Pennsylvania Fire and Police Association. He was also a member of the Newberry United Methodist Church. He was a life member of the Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company and the Susquehannock Four Wheel Drive Club. He was a veteran on World War II as a part of the United States Army Air Corps.
