Christina Breitling was born on 17 September 1880 at Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia.2 She was the daughter of Philipp Jacob Breitling and Karolina Strobel.1 Christina Breitling married, at age 17, Jacob Schlichenmayer, age 24, son of Jakob Friedrich Schlichenmayer and Margaretha Kiensle, on Thursday, 30 December 1897 at Kit Carson County, Colorado.1 Christina Breitling died on 31 August 1934 at Burlington, Kit Carson County, Colorado, at age 53 years, 11 months and 14 days.1
She emigrated with Philipp Jacob Breitling and Karolina Strobel on 9 June 1889 from Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia, America and settled, first in Scotland, South Dakota.2
