Dorothea Fredrich was born on 11 March 1805 at Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.1 She was the daughter of Karl Fredrich and Maria Dorothea Fode.1 Dorothea Fredrich married, at age 26, Mathaus Breitling, age 30, son of Johann Georg Breitling and Rosina Catharina Findel, on Thursday, 1 September 1831.1 Dorothea Fredrich died on 2 September 1881 at Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia, at age 76 years, 5 months and 22 days.1
She was widowed at age 51 by the death of Mathaus on 16 December 1856.1
