Robert Bruce Fenderson was born on 5 March 1886 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5,2,1,3 He was the son of Frank Fenderson and Jenny Kaufman.3 Robert Bruce Fenderson married Daisy Myrtle Sholder, daughter of John Sholder and Hannah J. Berry, in 1907.1,3,4 Robert Bruce Fenderson died on 6 February 1972 at Lysock View Nursing Home, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 11 months and 1 day.5,2,1,3 He was buried on 9 February 1972 in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Charles W. Coates.3,5,1
Robert Bruce Fenderson also went by the name of Dick.3 He and Daisy Myrtle Sholder appeared on the census of 19 April 1910 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary was published on 7 February 1972 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Robert Bruce (Dick) Fenderson, 86, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 1972, at Lysock View, Montoursville RD 2, where he had lived for the past year. He was a former resident of Green Avenue, Garden View.
Mr. Fenderson was a retired textile worker.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former D. Myrtle Sholder, of Cogan Station RD 1; one son, Perry Sr., of Cogan Station RD 1; two brothers, Lester, of Covington, Va., and Stanley, of Montoursville; one sister, Mrs. Florence Lewis, city; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sanders', 821 Diamond Street, with the Rev. Charles W. Coates, pastor of the Church of the Savior (Lutheran), officiating. Burial will be in the Montoursville Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.3
