     Evelyn Caroline Sholder was born on 4 August 1912 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Charles William Sholder and Ida Amelia Lorson.1,3 Evelyn Caroline Sholder married, at age 19, Willard Edward Tebbs, age 19, son of Harry Miller Tebbs and Fannie Clark, on Sunday, 27 September 1931 at Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland.1,3,4,5 Evelyn Caroline Sholder died on 23 December 1997 at Roseview Manor, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 4 months and 19 days.2,3 She was buried on 26 December 1997 in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Mark Reich.3
     Evelyn Caroline Sholder appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 in the household of Charles William Sholder and Ida Amelia Lorson at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Evelyn Caroline Sholder appeared on the census of 26 April 1930 in the household of Charles William Sholder and Ida Amelia Lorson at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of 1988, Evelyn Caroline Sholder and Willard Edward Tebbs lived at 1803 Princeton Avenue, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.4,3

     The former Evelyn Caroline Sholder was listed in Willard Edward Tebbs's obituary on 5 May 1988 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as his wife.4 Her obituary was published sometime in December 1997 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Evelyn C. Tebbs, 85, of 1803 Princeton Avenue died Tuesday, December 23, 1997, in Rose View Manor, where she lived since 1991.

Her husband of 57 years, Willard E. Tebbs, died May 5, 1988.

She had been employed by the former Curchoe's Market and the Gospel Bookstore.

She was a charter member and recording clerk at Evangelical Friends Church and taught a Sunday School class.

Born August 4, 1912, in this city, she was the daughter of Charles W. and Ida A. Lorson Sholder.

Surviving are two sons, Donald E. of Miami, FL and the Rev. Jack W. of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Ruth Vaneemon of this city; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery RR #2, with the Rev. Mark Reich, her pastor, officiating. The family will provide the flowers.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler's, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.3
