John Agustus Calkins

     John Agustus Calkins was born on 1 December 1881 at South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clinton Miller Calkins and Caroline M. Sholder. John Agustus Calkins married Mary Christina Stahl, daughter of Benjamin Stahl and Anna Cochran, circa August 1900. John Agustus Calkins died on 26 June 1950 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 68 years, 6 months and 25 days. He died from myocardial infarction due to coronary atherosclerosis. He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
