Harry Ellsworth Sholder1

M, (23 October 1878 - 26 February 1937)
     Harry Ellsworth Sholder was born on 23 October 1878 at farm of Christian (Scholderer) Sholder, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Charles Emanuel Sholder and Mary Anna Kinley.1 Harry Ellsworth Sholder married, at age 20, Clara Irene Bixler, age 18, daughter of Henry Bixler and Clara Critz, on Thursday, 29 June 1899 at Elmira, Chemung County, New York.3,4 Harry Ellsworth Sholder died on 26 February 1937 at age 58 years, 4 months and 3 days.5,6 He was buried on 1 March 1937 in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
     He and Clara Irene Bixler appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at Armstrong Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Harry Ellsworth Sholder appears in family photograph of Harry, Clara, Verna and Floyd Sholder circa 1915.

In talking with family members they indicated that the record of reference is the bible.
