Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer1

M, (15 September 1831 - 14 June 1904)
     Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer was born on 15 September 1831 at Kasseedorf, Schleswig-Holstein.1 He was the son of Johann Christopher August Dürrhauer and Sophia Dorothea Stephan.1 Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer married, at age 31, Wilhelmina Louisa Meurer, age 23, daughter of Christian Frederick Meurer and Karoline Wilhelmina Walter, on Tuesday, 1 September 1863 at Scot's Church, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1 Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer died on 14 June 1904 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia, at age 72 years, 8 months and 30 days.1
     Heinrich Christian Dorhauer travelled to England and then to Australia with his brother Heinrich Gottfried Theodore. Both brothers went to Hill End New South Wales where they had a timber yard, as well as the timber yard they dabbled in gold prospecting until they finally moved to Woollahra, a suburb of Sydney. He had ten children with his wife Wilhelmina, two of which died in infancy.1
