Frederick William Dorhauer1

Frederick William Dorhauer was born on 5 December 1870 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia.1 He was the son of Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer and Wilhelmina Louisa Meurer.1 Frederick William Dorhauer died on 10 April 1934 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia, at age 63 years, 4 months and 5 days.1
Frederick William Dorhauer was also known as Fritz.2 Frederick was a partner with his father Christian and his brother Otto in the company "C Dorhauer & Sons Joinery Works, Builders & Contractors," registered on 13th of January 1904 at 70 Queen street in Woollahra. He also registered on the same date, a Grocery business under the name "F W Dorhauer" next door at 72 Queen street. Frederick's younger brother, Rudolph was also a grocer, but filed for bankruptcy on 13th of February 1908. It is possible that Frederick sold Rudolph the business.2
