     Barbara Homer was born on 11 November 1928.2,3 She was the daughter of Louis Homer and Virginia Rudy.4 Barbara Homer married Seymour Sholder, son of Max Sholder and Minnie Schechter, circa 1946.5,1,6,2,4 Barbara Homer died on 12 August 2007 at age 78 years, 9 months and 1 day.2,3 She was buried in the Shalom Memorial Park, located in Palatine, Cook County, Illinois.2
     Barbara Homer also went by the name of Bobbie.6,5

     The former Barbara Homer was listed in the obituary of Seymour Sholder, on 29 August 1986 in the Chicago Sun-Times, printed in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, as his wife.6 Her obituary was published on 14 August 2007 in the Chicago Tribune, printed in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Her obituary stated:

     Bobbie lost her brave and courageous battle with Leukemia on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007.
