Harold Onixt was born on 15 August 1907.4 He was the son of Dave Onixt and Anna [—?—].3 Harold Onixt married Claire Sholder, daughter of Max Sholder and Minnie Schechter, circa 1939.1,2,3 Harold Onixt died in October 1983 at age 76 years and 1 month.3,4 He was buried on 18 October 1983 in the West Lawn Memorial Park, located in Illinois.3
He appeared on the census of 28 January 1920 in the household of Dave Onixt and Anna [—?—] at Chicago, 18th Ward, Cook County, Illinois. As of circa 1975, Harold Onixt and Claire Sholder lived at 9240 Gross Point Road, Skokie, Cook County, Illinois.2
Harold Onixt was listed in the obituary for the former Claire Sholder, on 11 September 1980 in the Chicago Tribune, printed in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, as her husband.5 His obituary was published on 18 October 1983 Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. His obituary stated:
Harold Onixt, beloved husband of the late Claire; dear father of David (Diane) and Michele O. (James) Williams; loving grandfather of Ashley, Micah and Marc; fond brother of Louis Onixt and Sadie Cohen.
