     Gertrude Schechter was born on 15 April 1894.2 She was the daughter of [—?—] Schechter.3 Gertrude Schechter married Morris Sholder, son of David Sholder and Mary [—?—], circa 1916.1,4 Gertrude Schechter died in October 1972 at age 78 years and 5 months.2 She was buried on 23 October 1972 in the Independent Austrian Aid Society, Waldheim Cemetery, located in Cook County, Illinois.4
     She and Morris Sholder appeared on the census of 4 January 1920 at Chicago, 34th Ward, Cook County, Illinois. Not yet complete.5

     The former Gertrude Schechter was listed in Morris Sholder's obituary on 11 January 1957 in the Chicago Tribune, printed in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, as his wife.1,6

     Gertrude Schechter, Minnie Schechter's sister was listed in her obituary on 25 May 1969 Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.3 As of 1970, Gertrude Schechter lived at 7447 South Shore Drive, Chicago, Illinois.4 Her obituary was published on 22 October 1972 Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Her obituary stated:

Services Monday, 1 p.m. at Piser Memorial Chapel, 6935 Stony [MISSING-TEXT] Av. Interment Ind. Austrian Aid Society, Waldheim. Friends are asked to pay their respects at time of services. Please omit flowers. DO 3-4920.4 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Gertrude as Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.2
