     Truman Larue Harer was born on 21 December 1917 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Harry William Harer and Grace A. Murray.3 Truman Larue Harer married Dorothy Maxine Martin, daughter of Truman Bruce Martin and Winifred M. [—?—], circa 1938 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 Truman Larue Harer married a second time Mary E. Crossley, daughter of Frank P. Crossley and Mary Louise Blee, circa 1979.3,4 Truman Larue Harer died on 30 January 1985 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years, 1 month and 9 days.5,2,3 He was buried in plot T 273-1, in the Jersey Shore Cemetery, located in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
     He appeared on the census of 10 January 1920 in the household of Harry William Harer and Grace A. Murray at South Williamsport, 1st Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Truman Larue Harer appeared on the census of 15 April 1930 in the household of Alston W. Biller and Alice Harer at Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Truman Larue Harer appeared on the census of 5 April 1940 in the household of Raymond Samuel Metzger and Vida M. Kiess at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He became a widower at the age of 59 with the death of Dorothy on 12 February 1977.3,6 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Truman as Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
