Juanita Velda Uttecht was born on 5 July 1928 at Parkston, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 She was the daughter of Woldemar Uttecht and Helena Winter.1 Juanita Velda Uttecht married Elmer A. Weisz, son of Otto Weisz and Theresa Christina Bietz, in 1947.1 Juanita Velda Uttecht died on 19 July 2003 at Blaine, Anoka and Ramsey Counties, Minnesota, at age 75 years and 14 days.1 She was buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, located in Scotland, Bon Homme County, South Dakota.1
Her obituary was published on 24 July 2003 in the Star Tribune, printed in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Her obituary stated:
Weisz Juanita V., age 74 of Blaine, passed away peacefully July 19, 2003.
Preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and 2 nephews.
Survived by husband of 56 years, Elmer; 2 sons, Orville and Bruce (Lisanne); 2 daughters, Sharon, Judy (Doug) Schuette; grandson, Matthew Schuette; 2 brothers, Wilmer (Cheryl) and Harold (Valeria); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, July 26, with memorial visitation 1 hour prior, at: Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. 763-767-1000.1
