     Elmer A. Weisz was born on 2 November 1922 at Highmore, Hyde County, South Dakota.1 He was the son of Otto Weisz and Theresa Christina Bietz.1 Elmer A. Weisz married Juanita Velda Uttecht, daughter of Woldemar Uttecht and Helena Winter, in 1947.2 Elmer A. Weisz died on 20 September 2008 at Blaine, Anoka and Ramsey Counties, Minnesota, at age 85 years, 10 months and 18 days.1 He was buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, located in Scotland, Bon Homme County, South Dakota.1
     He was in military service during World War II as a part of the United States Army.1 He became a widower at the age of 80 with the death of Juanita on 19 July 2003.2 His obituary was published on 25 September 2008 in the Star Tribune, printed in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. His obituary stated:

     Weisz, Elmer A., age 85, of Blaine.

     WWII Army veteran and member of Sgt. John Rice VFW #6316. Elmer served as a maintenance engineer for Continental Bakery and ended his career at Eddie Webster's.

     Preceded by wife of 57 years, Juanita.

     Survived by loving children, Orville Weisz, Sharon Weisz, Judy (Doug) Schuette and Bruce (Lisanne) Weisz; grandson, Matthew Schuette.

     Memorial service at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL, 107th Ave. NE & Hwy #65, Saturday at 10 AM. Visitation one hour prior to services.
