Vernon Furnas Anderson was born on 29 July 1898 at Colorado.1 He was the son of William J. Anderson and Bertha [—?—].1 Vernon Furnas Anderson first married, at age 20, Emma Pauline Schlichenmayer, age 19, daughter of Jacob Schlichenmayer and Christina Breitling, on Friday, 29 November 1918 at Denver, Denver County, Colorado.1 Vernon Furnas Anderson married a second time, at age 23, Etta Beatrice Gilman, age 19 on Saturday, 13 August 1921 at Denver, Denver County, Colorado.1 Vernon Furnas Anderson died in 1961 at age 62 years.1
He became a widower at the age of 21 with the death of Emma on 10 June 1920.1
