     Eliza Billeison was born on 16 January 1846 at Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.7,8,9 She was the daughter of Jacob Albert Billeisen and Elizabeth Scholderer.10,11,7 Eliza Billeison married, at age 24, John P. Schaeffer on Tuesday, 15 November 1870 at Ross County, Ohio.12,7,6 Eliza Billeison died on 25 December 1924 at 106 South Walnut Street, Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio, at age 78 years, 11 months and 9 days.7 She was buried on 27 December 1924 in the Grandview Cemetery, located in Ross County, Ohio. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Kelley Jenness.7
     Eliza Billeison was listed as living in the household of Jacob Albert Billeisen in the Seventh Census for the United States of America, enumerated on 8 August 1850 Chillicothe / Scioto Township, Ross County, Ohio, age 4 being born in Ohio.10

Eliza Billeison was enumerated on 20 June 1860 as a resident in the household of Jacob Albert Billeisen in the Eighth Census for the United States of America, in the State of Ohio, Ross County, Chillicothe, 4th Ward as "Lise Billeison" age 13, being born in Ohio and attending school in the past year.11 Eliza Billeison appeared on the census of 8 July 1870 in the household of Elizabeth Scholderer at Chillicothe, 4th Ward, Ross County, Ohio.

     The obituary dated on 3 December 1908 for Jacob F. Billeisen from in the local paper, printed in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio, listed Eliza Billeison as his sister.6 She appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 at Chillicothe, 3rd Ward, Ross County, Ohio. She appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 at Chillicothe, 3rd Ward, Ross County, Ohio. Her obituary was published on 25 December 1924 Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio. Her obituary stated:

     MRS. ELIZA SCHAEFFER

     Death came to Mrs. Eliza Schaeffer, well-known resident of this city, at her home, 106 South Walnut street at 5:30 o'clock Thursday morning following an illness of six weeks due to heart trouble. Mrs. Schaeffer who was the widow of John P. Schaeffer, was born in this city on January 16, 1846, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Bileison. She was a member of Walnut Street Church.

     One daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McFadgen, two sons, Claude B. Schaeffer and George B. Schaeffer and two grandchildren all of this city survive. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence, Rev. Kelley Jenness officiating. Interment will be in Grandview.

FUNERAL OF MRS. ELIZA SCHAEFFER

     Pallbearers at the funeral of Mrs. Eliza Schaeffer, held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, at the residence on South Walnut street, were: Charles Schaffer, John Brandle, Charles Rutherford, Charles Capple, T. G. Hedges and Carl Dullmeyer. Interment was in Grandview.7
