     Frederick Oscar Sholder was born on 6 June 1909.11,3,8 He was the son of Clarence M. Sholder and Mabel M. DeRemer.4,5 Frederick Oscar Sholder was baptized, at age 1 year, 10 months and 10 days, on Sunday, 16 April 1911 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.11 He married, at age 24, Ethel Irene Pryor, age 17, daughter of Walter Henry Pryor and Cora Belle Frisbee, on Monday, 31 July 1933 at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,6 Frederick Oscar Sholder died on 18 October 1968 at age 59 years, 4 months and 12 days.1,3,6,8,9 He was buried on 22 October 1968 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend William M. Birdsall also had a blank marker at Montoursville Cemetery as of 1993 in the lot with his parents.8,12
     Frederick Oscar Sholder also went by the name of Ted. He appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 in the household of Clarence M. Sholder and Mabel M. DeRemer at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of between 1940 and 1962, Frederick Oscar Sholder lived at Williamsport RD 2, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5,4

     An obituary in April 1940 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, for Mabel M. DeRemer listed Frederick Oscar as her son.5

     An obituary in August 1962 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, for Clarence M. Sholder listed Frederick Oscar as his son.4

     The obituary for Ethel Irene Pryor in April 1998 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, listed Frederick Oscar Sholder as her deceased husband.6
