     Katherine Pfefferle was born on 5 March 1871 at Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Gottleib Pfefferle and Katherine Sauter.1 Katherine Pfefferle married, at age 43, George W. Sims on Sunday, 19 April 1914 at Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont.1 Katherine Pfefferle died on 12 July 1960 at Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at age 89 years, 4 months and 7 days.1 She was buried in the Green River Cemetery, located in Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts.1
