     Lawrence Michael Beck was born on 18 November 1941 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,1 He was the son of Lawrence Franklin Beck and Bernice Geraldine Calkins.1 Lawrence Michael Beck was baptized, at age 19 days, on Sunday, 7 December 1941 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He married, at age 22, Marian Inez Lovell, daughter of Paul Melvin Lovell and Grace Alice Paulhamus, on Saturday, 21 December 1963 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Elmira, Chemung County, New York.2,1 Lawrence Michael Beck died on 16 April 2009 at Turbotville, Lewis Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years, 4 months and 29 days.1 He was buried on 22 April 2009 in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, located in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Pastor Glenn McGreary.1
     Lawrence Michael Beck was also known as Larry.1 He was employed as an assembler for Textron in 1977. He retired in 2005 from Textron.1 His obituary was published on 19 April 2009 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Lawrence "Larry" M. Beck, 67, of 3290 St. Rt. 54, Turbotville, died at home, Thursday, April 16, 2009.

     He and his wife the former Marian (Micki) Lovell celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Dec. 21.

     Born Nov. 18, 1941, in Williamsport and the son of Lawrence F. and Bernice Calkins Beck.

     Larry retired in 2005 from Textron. He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Muncy.

     He enjoyed gardening reading, spending time with family and friends, but most of all he enjoyed time with his grandson, Luke.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Beck, Milton; two daughters, Suzanne Phillips, Flemington, N.J., Melissa Beck, Bloomsburg; two brothers, Bernard and Paul Beck; six sisters, Sister Lorene Beck, Sister Marilyn Beck, Rosalyn Kelly, Teresa Updegraff, Jeanne Fox and Cecile Beck; and one grandson, Luke Phillips.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Church of the Resurrection, 526 S. Main St., Muncy with the Pastor Glenn McGreary V.F. officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

     Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.

     The family suggests that memorial contributions in Larry’s name be made to Church of the Resurrection, 526 S. Main St., Muncy, Pa. 17756. Kaufman Funeral Home & Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.1
