George W. Scholderer was born circa 1854 at Ohio.4 He was the son of John F. Scholderer and Sophia Schaeffer.5,3 George W. Scholderer married Mary B. Thompson on Sunday, 13 February 1887 at Ross County, Ohio.6,3 George W. Scholderer died on 22 September 1894 at South Walnut Street, Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.3 He was buried on 24 September 1894 in the Greenlawn Cemetery, located in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio.3
George W. Scholderer was enumerated on 20 June 1860 as a resident in the household of John F. Scholderer in the Eighth Census for the United States of America, in the State of Ohio, Ross County, Chillicothe, 4th Ward as "George" age 8 being born in Ohio.7 George W. Scholderer appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 in the household of Henry Schenkle and Sophia Schaeffer at Chillicothe, 4th Ward, Ross County, Ohio. His obituary was published on 22 September 1894 in the Daily Gazette, printed in Chillicothe, Ross County, Ohio. His obituary stated:
Died in the Prime of Life
Mr. George W. Scholderer, the well-known plumber for so many years in the employ of Pfaff & Ringwald, and whose serious illness had been chronicled in THE DAILY GAZETTE, died at 8 o'clock this morning, at his late residence on South Paint street, near Eighth street, his disease, being, as stated, consumption, with which disease he had suffered long.
He leaves a wife and an adopted son, a mother, Mrs. Henry Shenkle, of Hickory street, and a sister, Mrs. John H. Miller, wife of the manager of the Western Union Telegraph office, and many friends, to mourn his loss. Interment will take place on Monday, at nine o'clock, at Greenlawn.3
