     Edward James Mahaffey was born on 18 September 1893 at Oklahoma Territory, USA.1 He was the son of Edward August Mahaffey and Serritha Belle Frazer. Edward James Mahaffey married Florence Irene Smith circa 1921. Edward James Mahaffey died on 29 November 1969 at age 76 years, 2 months and 11 days.1 He was buried in section 2 lot 81N, in the Chewelah Memorial Park, located in Chewelah, Stevens County, Washington.
     He appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 in the household of Serritha Belle Frazer at Little Robe Creek, Dewey County, Oklahoma Territory, USA.
