     Lena Heckel was born on 29 September 1888 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.1,2,4,5 She was the daughter of Henry Heckel and Elizabeth Marie Keller.5,7 Lena Heckel married Oscar Whited, son of William Whited and Gola [—?—], circa 1912.5,6,7 Lena Whited died on 23 August 1936 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 47 years, 10 months and 25 days.5 She was buried on 26 August 1936 in section 123, lot 251, in the Woodland Cemetery, located in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.5
     She appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 in the household of Henry Heckel and Elizabeth Marie Keller at Dayton, 7th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. Lena Heckel appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 in the household of Henry Heckel and Elizabeth Marie Keller at Dayton, 10th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. As of March 1916, Lena Heckel and Oscar Whited lived at 104 South William Street, Dayton, Ohio.1 Lena Heckel and Oscar Whited appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 at Dayton, 10th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio.
