General Information

The Internet has proven to be a wonderful tool for genealogical research and publishing.  It is no longer necessary to wait until a research project is finished (family history research is never finished) to publish our results. We can now get whatever we have out there to share, based on the best information we have, and keep it up to date as new material becomes available. I'm always looking for copies of any documents, photos, diaries, old letters, family group sheets, wills, deeds, Bible records - anything you might have that applies to the families found on this website.

The drawback in publishing before a family research project is complete is that, inevitably, some errors and omissions could be included along with the valid results. All of the information that is presented has been received and compiled from many different sources. With this in mind, the verification of the data found on this website is the responsibility of the viewer. I have included all of the sources that have been used to make this website as reference material to aid you in your search for the truth. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Our mantra is: What is the evidence?

While this website is still very much a "work in progress." The goal is to make it more complete and accurate with every update. You can help us by letting us know if you come across any mistakes, no matter how small, on these pages or by sharing new and updated information that you are aware of.

we have decided to share only basic information on:  birth, marriage, death, and burial about the individuals. However in some cases there maybe additional information available for each individual, such as census or some biographical information. There is however typically much more detailed information available on the individuals found within these pages due to the various sources that have been consulted.

The family data found here is maintained with The Master Genealogist (TMG), which unfortunately has been discontinued in 2014 as it was the gold standard in genealogical software. It does however still work under Windows 10 and should for years to come at this point. A companion application called Second Site by John Cardinal is used to generate all of the pages directly from the TMG Database. Other parts of this website are maintained with BlueGriffon and EditPad Pro.
