Jacob Stam was born on 1 October 1877 at Alkmaar, North Holland Province, Netherlands.1 He was the son of Gerrit Stam and Sophia Meersch.1 Jacob Stam married, at age 21, Wilhelmina Hemelrijk, age 25, daughter of Cornelis Hemelrijk and Maria Mooij, on Thursday, 19 January 1899 at Velsen, North Holland Province, Netherlands.1 Jacob Stam died on 16 August 1936 at Alkmaar, North Holland Province, Netherlands, at age 58 years, 10 months and 15 days.1
