Gerrit Stam was born on 25 November 1850 at Alkmaar, North Holland Province, Netherlands.1 He was the son of Jacob Stam and Neeltje Visser.1 Gerrit Stam first married, at age 24, Clara Cabri, age 18, daughter of Johannes Cabri and Geertje Mol, on Sunday, 4 April 1875 at Alkmaar, North Holland Province, Netherlands.1 Gerrit Stam married, at age 26, Sophia Meersch, age 27, daughter of Christoffel Meersch and Fijtje Akkerman, on Sunday, 11 March 1877 at Alkmaar, North Holland Province, Netherlands.1 Gerrit Stam died circa 1929 at Hengelo, Overijssel Province, Netherlands.1
