Rex Batie was born on 19 April 1900 at Fulda, Minnesota.1,2 He was the son of Frank Albert Batie.1 Rex Batie first married, at age 21, Esther Wein, age 20, daughter of Christian Stephan Wein and Emma Linck, on Wednesday, 18 January 1922.1 Rex Batie and Esther Wein were divorced in 1940.1 Rex Batie married a second time, at age 42, Della Luckow on Thursday, 28 May 1942 at Sisseton, Roberts County, South Dakota.1 Rex Batie died in December 1965 at age 65 years and 7 months.1,2 He was buried in the Prarie Mound Cemetery, located in Butler, Day County, South Dakota.1
