John Albert Creveling was born on 12 October 1959 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Robert Mitchell Creveling and Kathleen Jean Kahler.1,2 John Albert Creveling first married Kimberly A. Kohler circa 1984.1 John Albert Creveling married a second time Lorrie Condo in 1994.1,2 John Albert Creveling died on 19 January 2010 at Divine Providence Hospital, The Gatehouse, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 50 years, 3 months and 7 days.2
He graduated in 1977 from South Williamsport High School, located in South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 His obituary was published on 23 January 2010 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
John A. Creveling, 50, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at the Gatehouse, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 12, 1959 in Williamsport, the son of Robert and Kathleen Kahler Creveling.
John was the husband of the former Lorrie Condo with whom he shared 15 years of marriage.
He had been employed by Fairfield Ford. John was very active in his community, and enjoyed the friendships and relationships he shared over the years.
He was a graduate of S. Williamsport High School, Class of 1977.
John loved watching NASCAR and Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. He also loved monster trucks.
John was predeceased by his brother, Randy and both his maternal grandparents.
John is survived by his wife, Lorrie and his children, Jonathan, Lauren, and Jessica, all at home and Carissa (Allan) of Tuscan, Ariz; his parents Robert and Kathleen Creveling; his brothers, Robert Creveling of Trout Run, Michael (Carla) Creveling of Williamsport, Edward (Cheryl) Creveling of Williamsport and Steven Creveling (Virginia) of South Williamsport; his sisters: Jean Klotz of Williamsport, and Sherri Creveling of Charlotte, N.C.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be make in John's name to the Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation West Penn Manor Fund, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224-9986.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration service noon Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, 68 Phelps Chapel Road, Jersey Shore, PA 17740, with Rev. Edward Prowant officiating.
A visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon at the church. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 500 W. Fourth St. Williamsport.
