Leon Paul Bartlow was born on 25 April 1937 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Joseph Leon Bartlow and Hilda Elizabeth Sholder.1,2 Leon Paul Bartlow was baptized, at age 3 years, 11 months and 19 days, on Sunday, 13 April 1941 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He married, at age 19, Beverly Louise Garnhart on Friday, 19 October 1956.1,2 Leon Paul Bartlow died on 22 August 2013 at Sycamore Manor, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years, 3 months and 28 days.2 He was buried in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
Leon Paul Bartlow also went by the name of Stu.2 He appeared on the census of 3 May 1940 in the household of Clarence M. Sholder at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary was published on 24 August 2013 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Leon P. "Stu" Bartlow, 76, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Sycamore Manor.
Leon and his wife, the former Beverly L. Garnhart, celebrated their 57th anniversary on Oct. 19, 2012.
Leon retired from Stroehmann's after 26 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR.
Born April 25, 1937, in Williamsport, he was the son of Joseph Leon and Hilda Sholder Bartlow.
Surviving in addition to his wife are several cousins.
Private services and burial at Twin Hills Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
