     Alvin Richard Kinley was born on 26 June 1924 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Grover C. Kinley and Mary Ann Metzler.2 Alvin Richard Kinley married, at age 19, Annabelle Bennett, age 17, daughter of Ward Lorenzo Bennett and Verna Viola Sholder, on Monday, 1 May 1944.1,2 Alvin Richard Kinley died on 30 December 2007 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 83 years, 6 months and 4 days.2

Alvin Richard Kinley was buried on 3 January 2008 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, the funeral service was officiated by Reverend Darlene K. Little, assited by Stuart T. Hague.2
     Alvin Richard Kinley also went by the name of Buck.1,2 As of 1997, Alvin Richard Kinley and Annabelle Bennett lived at 2741 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.2

     Alvin Richard Kinley was listed in Annabelle Kinley's obituary on 24 August 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as her husband.1 His obituary was published on 1 January 2008 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Alvin R. (Buck) Kinley, 83, of 2741 Bottle Run Road, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

     Buck's wife of 58 years, the former Annabelle Bennett died Aug. 22, 2002.

     Buck and his wife founded A.R. Kinley Garage. He served as an Old Lycoming Township Supervisor for many years, was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, an Army veteran of WW II, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 1. He was a member of Lodge 106 F. & A.M, the Zafar Grotto, the Bottle Run Grange #1301 and the North Central Penn Chapter 96 Camping Assoc.

     Born June 26, 1924 in Williamsport, he was the son of Grover C. and Mary A. Metzler Kinley.

     Surviving are sons, Gary R. (Judy) and Thomas G. (Diane) of Williamsport and David R. of Jersey Shore; daughters, Joy L. Miller of Jersey Shore, Linda A. (Steve) Barner and Cindy J. (Rick) Weaver of Williamsport; a brother, Donald C. of Midway, W. Virg; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

     Buck was predeceased by siblings, Dalton E., Robert J. and Joel E. Kinley and Eleanor E. Moore.

     Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thurs. at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with the Rev. Darlene K. Little and Stuart T. Hague officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Masonic service will be at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

     Donations may be made to the church, 2758 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport.2
