     Edward Andrew Bietz was born on 29 December 1910 at Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 He was the son of Gottfried Bietz and Christina Friederich.2,3 Edward Andrew Bietz married Ida Mae Fredrich, daughter of Gottlieb Fredrich and Maria Grosz, in 1936.1 Edward Andrew Bietz died on 24 January 1982 at Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota, at age 71 years and 26 days.1 He was buried in section A, block 3, lot 2, in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1
