     Ida Mae Fredrich was born on 4 May 1918 at Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 She was the daughter of Gottlieb Fredrich and Maria Grosz.1 Ida Mae Fredrich married, at age 18, Edward Andrew Bietz, age 25, son of Gottfried Bietz and Christina Friederich, on Tuesday, 9 June 1936.1,2 Ida Mae Fredrich died on 13 October 1998 at Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota, at age 80 years, 5 months and 9 days.1 She was buried in section A, block 3. lot 1, in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1
     She was widowed at age 63 by the death of Edward on 24 January 1982.2
