     Melvin Arthur Kludt was born on 21 January 1934 at Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 He was the son of Arthur B. Kludt and Olive W. Fredrich.1 Melvin Arthur Kludt married, at age 21, Darlene Rosina Bietz, age 18, daughter of Arthur A. Bietz and Vesta K. Reimann, on Sunday, 30 October 1955 at Dennewitz Lutheran Church, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.2 Melvin Arthur Kludt died on 3 January 1991 at Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota, at age 56 years, 11 months and 13 days.1 He was buried in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1
