     Arthur B. Kludt was born on 3 September 1911 at Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 He was the son of Benjamin Kludt and Katherine Rokusek. Arthur B. Kludt married Olive W. Fredrich, daughter of Gottlieb Fredrich and Maria Grosz, circa 1932.1 Arthur B. Kludt died on 17 May 1992 at Mitchell, Davison County, South Dakota, at age 80 years, 8 months and 14 days.1 He was buried in section 11, lot 9, in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1
     He became a widower at the age of 67 with the death of Olive on 15 June 1979.2
