     Walter Edward Fullmer Jr. was born on 24 February 1920.1 He was the son of Walter Edward Fullmer and Barbara Ellen Straub. Walter Edward Fullmer Jr. married Ruby Josephine Fenderson, daughter of Robert Bruce Fenderson and Daisy Myrtle Sholder, circa 1940.1 Walter Edward Fullmer Jr. died on 4 July 1961 at age 41 years, 4 months and 10 days.1
     He appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 in the household of Walter Edward Fullmer and Barbara Ellen Straub at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of September 1943, Walter Edward Fullmer Jr. and Ruby Josephine Fenderson lived at 1309 Race Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The following article about Walter Edward was published on 23 March 1945 in the Gazette and Bulletin, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. This article stated:

     Pvt. W. E. Fullmer in Radio Mechanics School

     Pvt. Walter E. Fullmer, Jr., 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Fullmer, 1723 Green Avenue, has been enrolled in the A.A.F. Training Command's aircraft radio mechanics school at Truax Field, it was announced by the post commander.

     He will take an extensive course in servicing radio equipment used on U.S. bombers and fighter planes and will be trained in defense against chemical warfare, aircraft identification, and related A.A.F. subjects designed to fit him for combat duty.

     In civilian life, Private Fullmer was a machinist.
