Peggy Ann Ivins was born on 30 May 1928.1 She was the daughter of Leon T. Ivins and Isabelle [—?—].2,3 Peggy Ann Ivins married, at age 24, Frank Gheen Murray, age 34, son of Wilbur Henry Murray and Kate Sweeley, on Saturday, 21 March 1953 at Newberry Methodist Church, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend E. Elbert Wilson and Reverend Bart E. Crites.1,2,3 Peggy Ann Ivins died on 20 March 2010 at Orange County, California, at age 81 years, 9 months and 20 days.1,3 She was buried on 3 April 2010 in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, located in Cypress, Orange County, California.1,3 A memorial service for Peggy Ann Ivins was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, Cypress, Orange County, California, on 3 April 2010.3

A gown of French lace and nylon net over satin will be worn by Miss Peggy A. Ivins for her marriage today to Frank G. Murray. The ceremony will take place at 2 PM in Newberry Methodist Church.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon T. Ivins, 926 Diamond Street.
Mr. Murray is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Murray, 2401 Mill Lane.
Officiating at the double ring ceremony will be the Rev. E. Elbert Wilson, Waynesboro, and the Rev. Bart E. Crites. Miss Louise H. Stryker will present the wedding music and John D. O'Neill, Lansdowne, will be soloist.
Mr. Ivins will escort his daughter to the altar, which will be arranged with calla lilies, palms and lighted candelabra. The bride-elect will wear a white gown styled with fitted bodice of French lace over satin featuring a shoulder-wide neckline edged in hand clipped lace. The bouffant skirt will feature panels of French lace and nylon net over satin. Miss Ivins will have a silk illusion fingertip veil which will cascade from a sculptured cap of matching lace edged insatin. She will carry a cascade arrangement of white feathered carnations, white fresia and maline.
Miss Marian Antes, this city, will be maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Mrs. William Sperow and Miss Frances Fisher, both of this city. The attendants gowns will be identically styled. Miss Antes will have a lavendar strapless nylon net over taffeta gown with shirred net draped over the shoulder and tiered skirt with matching velvet sash. The bridesmaids gowns will be of nile green. The attendants will wear short white gloves. Miss Antes will carry a cascade-bouquet of pink carnations, orchid sweet peas and maline. She will have a matching floral coronet. The bridesmaids will carry cascade arrangements of shell pink carnations, blue grape hyacinths and orchid sweet peas with maline. Their floral coronets will match their bouquets. Elinor Louise and Ruth Susan Ivins, sisters of the bride-elect, will be flower girls. They will wear nile green gowns of net over taffeta with gathered drop shoulder yokes and tiered skirts with matching velvet sashes. They will have short white gloves and will carry nosegays of feathered rose and shell pink carnations, blue grape hyacinths and orchid sweet peas with matching coronets.
Fred T. Antes, Jr., will serve as best man for his cousin and ushers will be John G. Ivins, cousin of the bride-elect; Donald H. Jackson, brother-in-law of the prospective bridegroom; Vernon Eichelberger, all of this city, and Frank E. Frey, Jr., Sunbury, cousin of Mr. Murray.

A reception will be held at The Village after which the bridal couple will leave for a wedding trip. They will reside in Los Angeles, Calif. She was the daughter of Leon T. and Isabelle Ivins, and the step-daughter of Elinor M. Ivins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank G. Murray, in 1985.
She was born in Williamsport and graduated from Williamsport High School.
While living in Williamsport, she worked at the former Williamsport Bank. She had been a member of the former Newberry Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Marc Murray of Seal Beach, Calif., and Scott (Linda) Murray of Irvine, Calif; a grandson, Ozzie Murray of Arizona; and two sisters, Ellie Winter of Marlton, N.J., and Ruth (Bob) Heller of Williamsport, Pa.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 3, at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California.3
