Linda Lou Kelchner was born on 20 December 1953 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 She was the daughter of Richard Franklin Kelchner and Peggy Lou Grove.1,2 Linda Lou Kelchner died on 21 August 2005 at Sycamore Manor Health Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 51 years, 8 months and 1 day.2,3 She was buried on 26 August 2005 in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend William J. Younger.2
Her obituary was published on 23 August 2005 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Linda Lou Kelchner, 51, of Shiffler Avenue, Williamsport died Sunday August 21, 2005 at Sycamore Manor Health Center.
She was born December 20, 1953 in Williamsport, the daughter of Richard F. and Peggy L. Grove Kelchner.
Linda was a member of the Northway Presbyterian Church for over 30 years and was very active in the church.
She was employed by Women's Health Care Associates for 2 years. She was previously employed by doctors Haack & Speichinger for 10 years. Prior to 1991 she was a valued employee of Dr. William Todhunter.
Linda is survived by two sisters, Janice M. Kelchner Cheng of Fox Chapel Pittsburgh and Michelle K. Repsher of Tunkhannock and her brother-in-laws, Kenneth P. Cheng MD and Kenneth F. Repsher. Additionally Linda is survived by her beloved niece and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 26 at the Oaklawn and Christian Hill Cemetery with the Rev. William J. Younger officiating. After graveside services family will receive friends at the Northway Presbyterian Church, 1520 Northway Road, Williamsport.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 120 Wall Street, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10005. Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Linda's last known residence was Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.3
