     Russell A. Scholderer was born on 21 January 1910 at Ohio.5 He was the son of William A. Scholderer and Carrie Frances McDonald.3,1,2 Russell A. Scholderer married Verna Naomi Houston, daughter of [—?—] Keefer, circa 1932.3,4 Russell A. Scholderer died on 20 December 1990 at Mann Nursing Home, Westerville, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 80 years, 10 months and 29 days.5,3 He was buried on 22 December 1990 in the Union Cemetery, located in Franklin County, Ohio. The funeral service was officiated by Brother Jim Dempsey.3
     Russell A. Scholderer appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 in the household of William A. Scholderer and Carrie Frances McDonald at Columbus, 7th Ward, Franklin County, Ohio.

     Russell A. was listed in Carrie Frances McDonald's obituary on 19 April 1958 in the The Columbus Dispatch, printed in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, as her son.2 His obituary was published on 21 December 1990 Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. His obituary stated:

     Russell Scholderer, age 80, of Columbus. Thursday, December 20, 1990, Mann Nursing Home, Westerville. Retired associate of the Long Street Y.M.C.A. Member Linden Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents William A. and Carrie F. (McDonald) Scholderer. Survived by wife, Verna Naomi (Houston) Scholderer; sister Mary Ann Scholderer; brothers, Arthur and Earl (Bernice) Scholderer; nieces, Rita Harrison, Regina Sharpless, Sharon Jensen and Kim Haske; nephew, Gary Lee Scholderer. Funeral service Saturday, December 22, 1990, 11 a.m., SCHOEDINGER-LINDEN CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where friends may call Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Bro Jim Dempsey officiating. Interment Union Cemetery.3 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Russell's last known residence was Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.5
