     Beverly A. Roller was born on 6 May 1931 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Harris Roller and Pearl M. Pasnault.1,2 Beverly A. Roller married, at age 20, John Henry Miller Jr., age 21, son of John Henry Miller and Bernadine K. Zettlemoyer, on Saturday, 6 October 1951 at Saint Paul's Calvary Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Paul S. Wheelock.1,2,3 Beverly A. Roller died on 23 September 2017 at Divine Providence Hospital, The Gatehouse, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 4 months and 17 days.2 She was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Jennett Wertz.2
     Beverly A. Roller graduated in 1949 from Williamsport High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Since 1952, Beverly A. Roller and John Henry Miller Jr. have lived at 1415 High Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.4 Beverly A. Roller was employed by Bell Telephone and AT&T as an operator between 1964 and 1989.2 She retired in 1989 from AT&T.2 The anniversary announcement for Beverly A. Roller and John Henry Miller Jr. was published on 14 October 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. This announcement stated:

     Mr. and Mrs. John H. Miller Jr., Williamsport, observed their 56th wedding anniversary Oct. 6, 2007. They were married by the Rev. Whitlock at St. Paul Calvary Church, where they are members.

     Mrs. Miller, the former Beverly Roller, is the daughter of the late Pearl and Harris Roller. She graduated from Williamsport High School and played the French horn in the Uncle Osborne Housel's Band. She retired in 1995 from Bell Tele-AT&T after 25 years of employment.

     Mr. Miller, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Bernadine and John Miller. He graduated from Williamsport High School and the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, N.Y. He served in the Air Force and was employed by Highway Express Maislin Transport. He also was the director of the Starlighters Orchestra for 20 years.

They are the parents of a daughter, Sharlene Clapper and a son, Sgt. David D. There are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner will be held at Country Cupboard, Lewisburg, with family.
She was widowed at age 83 by the death of John on 19 August 2014.3,2 Beverly A. Roller was United Methodist and a 73-year member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church.2 Her obituary was published on 25 September 2017 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     BEVERLY A. MILLER; AGE 86 YEARS

     Beverly A. Miller, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, surrounded by family at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. She joined her husband of 62 years, John Henry Miller, Jr. in heaven who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2014.

     Born May 6, 1931, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Pearl M. (Pasnault) Roller.

     Beverly was a graduate of Williamsport High School Class of 1949 and a lifelong resident of the city. She retired in 1989 after 25 years of service working for Bell Telephone and AT&T as an operator. She was a AT&T Pioneer, and part of the Jolly Jesters Travel Club. Beverly was an avid bowler, participating in tournaments and the WIBC Bowling Association. She enjoyed all types of music, playing the piano and cards, especially with the What-A-Bunch Card Club. She volunteered with the United Churches Food Pantry but spent Sunday evenings playing games with her grandchildren, times she very much cherished.

     Beverly was a 73-year member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church where she was very involved through the years. She attended the Isabel Krebs Sunday School Class for more than 60 years, was an original member of the St. Paul-Calvary Chimers, participated in Bible Study Fellowship, the United Methodist Women, and organized the Crop Walk for her church. Beverly was a devoted Christian who enjoyed visiting, sharing communion and the word of the Lord with shut ins, her family and others.

     Surviving are three children, Sharlene (Jack) Clapper, of Williamsport, David (Rose) Miller, of Lock Haven, Anne (Lester) Bennett, of Linden; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ellen Bock Barr, and a brother, Joseph H. Roller.

     A funeral service to honor the life of Beverly will be held at St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church, 1427 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Jennett Wertz, officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.2
