Ronald Edward Fleeger was born on 6 May 1932 at Sykesville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.1,3 He was the son of Walter C. Fleeger and Helen Grace Pasnault.1,3 Ronald Edward Fleeger married, at age 18, Barbara Phyllis Lose, age 17, daughter of Ambrose T. Lose and Caroline Klinkhammer, on Friday, 20 October 1950.4,3 Ronald Edward Fleeger died on 24 April 2004 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 71 years, 11 months and 18 days.2,3
His obituary was published on 25 April 2004 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Ronald E. Fleeger, 71, of 664 Grandview Drive, Linden, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Williamsport Hospital.
Born May 6, 1932, in Sykesville, Ron was the son of Walter C. and Helen G. Pasnault Fleeger. He and his father co-founded F & S Lumber Co. in Linden.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former Barbara Lose; six children, Kathleen Mayer, Walter C. Fleeger II, Ronald E. Fleeger Jr. and Valerie A. Fleeger, all of Linden, Carol Lynne DePasqua, of city, and Karen E. Wright of South Williamsport; two sisters, Shirley A. Grove of Jersey Shore and Mary Jane Shirey of Hummelstown; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by a son, John.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. There will be no visitation.5 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Ronald's last known residence was Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
