Charles Paul McNeil was born on 18 May 1950 at Fresno, Fresno County, California.1,2,3 He was the son of Albert Henry McNeil and Harriet Frances Goode.2,3 Charles Paul McNeil died on 25 March 2003 at Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, at age 52 years, 10 months and 7 days.1,2 He was buried on 28 March 2003 in the Elmwood Memorial Park, located in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Thomas Manimala.4
His obituary was published on 27 March 2003 in the Abilene Reporter-News, printed in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. His obituary stated:
Charles Paul McNeil 52 passed away Tuesday March 25, 2003 at his residence. Graveside services, with Reverend Thomas Manimala officiating will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home 5750 Hwy. 277 South Abilene, Texas.
Mr. McNeil was born May 18, 1950 in Fresno, California to Albert and Harriet McNeil. An American Indian, he was raised and attended school in the Fresno County area. Mr. McNeil moved to Texas in the 1980's and considered Texas his real home.
Survivors include: three sisters Judy Burleson and family of Madera CA, Deborah McNeil of Sunnyvale CA, Carol Cozby and family of Arizona City, AZ. Two brothers Albert McNeil of Palo Alto, CA, William Beebe of Redwood City, CA. His special adopted family Becca Finwick, Patrick Hale and Misty Finwick all of Abilene, TX.
