     Sidney Angel was born on 27 February 1923 at Mesa Grande Township, San Diego County, California.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Jesse Royal Angel and Mabel Lawson.3 Sidney Angel died on 27 May 2004 at Escondido, San Diego County, California, at age 81 years and 3 months.1,2 He was buried on 4 June 2004 in the Oak Hill Memorial Park, located in Escondido, San Diego County, California.1
     He appeared on the census of 9 April 1930 in the household of Jesse Royal Angel and Mabel Lawson at Escondido, San Diego County, California. Sidney Angel was in military service during World War II. He enlisted 2 March 1943 in Los Angeles, California as a private. His year of birth is listed as 1923 and he was a resident San Diego County, California, at the time of his enlistment.4 His obituary was published on 2 June 2004 in the The San Diego Union-Tribune, printed in San Diego, San Diego County, California. His obituary stated:

     Feb. 27, 1923 - May 27, 2004 Sidney Angel, 81, of Escondido died Thursday. He was born in Mesa Grande and was a ranch caretaker. He served in the Army during World War II.

     Survivors include his sisters, Irene Rayle, Ida May Hanson and Marlene Angel-Morris, all of Escondido.
