     Maurice Roland Sholder was born on 3 July 1938. He was the son of Earl R. Sholder and Vivian E. Beidler.1,2 Maurice Roland Sholder married, at age 20, Shawanna Green, daughter of Henry B. Green and Kathryn Irene Gair, on Saturday, 7 March 1959 at Newberry Methodist Church, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Wallace Cummings.1,2 Maurice Roland Sholder died on 9 June 2016 at Divine Providence Hospital, The Gatehouse, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 years, 11 months and 6 days.
     He graduated in 1956 from Jersey Shore High School, located in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He retired circa 1998 from Anchor Darling-Valve after 40 years of employement.1
