     Ethel Irene Pryor was born on 1 June 1916 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,5,6 She was the daughter of Walter Henry Pryor and Cora Belle Frisbee.6 Ethel Irene Pryor was baptized at Methodist Church, Duboistown, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She married, at age 17, Frederick Oscar Sholder, age 24, son of Clarence M. Sholder and Mabel M. DeRemer, on Monday, 31 July 1933 at Saint Paul's United Methodist Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,6 Ethel Irene Pryor died on 13 April 1998 at Williamsport RD 2, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 10 months and 12 days.5,6 She was buried on 16 April 1998 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Darlene K. Little.6
     Ethel Irene Pryor appeared on the census of January 1920 in the household of Walter Henry Pryor and Cora Belle Frisbee at Williamsport, 10th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Ethel Irene Pryor was employed by the Ray-O-Vac Corporation. Her obituary was published sometime in April 1998 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Ethel I. Sholder, 81, of Williamsport RR #2 died Monday, April 13, 1998, at home after an extended illness.

Her husband, Frederic O. Sholder, died October 18, 1968.

She retired in 1981 from the former Ray-O-Vac Corporation after 28 years of employment.

She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Born June 1, 1916, in this city, she was a daughter of Walter Henry and Cora Belle Frisbee Pryor.

Surviving are two sons, Richard D. of Williamsport RR #2 and Robert W. Sr., with whom she lived; a sister, Viola Hitesman of Hughesville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by six brother, Walter, Lewis, Stanley, Rantz, Clayton and Richard Pryor; two sisters, Lillie Sargent and Gertrude Stavage; a grandson, Keith, and a great-grandson, Blake.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy RR #2, with the Rev. Darlene K. Little, her pastor, officiating. There will be no visitation. The family will provide the flowers.

Arrangements are being handled by Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Avenue.6
