Regina Margaretha Brosz1,2,3

     Regina Margaretha Brosz was born on 12 June 1920 at Hutchinson County, South Dakota.3 She was the daughter of Ferdinand Brosz and Lydia Bietz.3 Regina Margaretha Brosz married, at age 27, Bernhard Leonard Bueber, age 28, son of Jacob Bueber and Helena Friederich, on Sunday, 2 May 1948 at Kaylor, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.4,5,3 Regina Margaretha Brosz died on 31 May 2019 at Scotland, Bon Homme County, South Dakota, at age 98 years, 11 months and 19 days.3 She was buried on 5 June 2019 in section 14, lot 2, in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.5,3
     She was widowed at age 84 by the death of Bernhard on 16 December 2004.6,5 Her obituary was published sometime in June 2019 in the local paper, printed in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. Her obituary stated:

     Regina Margaret (Brosz) Bueber was born on June 12, 1920 to Ferdinand and Lydia Brosz in rural Tripp, South Dakota. She grew up on a farm northeast of Tripp, SD, and attended rural Sharon school. After her education, she worked on her parents' farm and served as a household helper to many area families.

     On May 2, 1948, she married Bernhard Bueber in the Congregational Church in Kaylor, SD. Three children were born to this union: Diane, Rita, and Duane. Bernhard and Regina farmed east of Tripp for 35 years. Regina worked alongside her husband on the farm and served on womens' groups in church and community. She and her husband retired to their new home in Tripp in 1983.

     In her retirement years, Regina was known for sewing quilt tops for her church missions. As best as she could recall, she had sewn more than 2000 quilts which were sent to all parts of the world. She often reflected as to where people were keeping warm with her quilts.

     Regina passed away on May 31, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society of Scotland having attained the age of 98 years.

     Regina is survived by three children: Diane (Dwain) Wulf of Omaha, Nebraska, Rita (Tom) Korbal of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Duane (Bonnie) of Kaylor, South Dakota; 4 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth, brothers: Arthur, Jonathan, Edgar, Milton, Maynard, Raymond, Curtis, and Loren.

     This obituary was written in loving memory by the family of Regina Bueber.

     Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at First American Lutheran Church in Tripp with burial following at Grace Hill Cemetery, Tripp.

     Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until a 7:00 p.m prayer service on Tuesday, June 4 at Goglin Funeral Home in Tripp. Online condolences may be sent at www.goglinfh.com.3
